Events That Connect Us

Throughout the year, Wilshire Schools East comes alive with gatherings, traditions, and shared celebrations.

These events bring students, parents, faculty, and extended family together, building community spirit, deepening relationships, and creating memories that last long after the school year ends.

Annual Traditions & School Spirit

From fall festivals to spring fundraisers, our school calendar is full of moments that reflect our values and spark connection. Parents help bring these events to life, planning, volunteering, and participating alongside their children. Whether you’re cheering at a Blaze athletics celebration or dancing at the Havdalah Disco, you’ll feel the joy of being part of something special.

Events That Make an Impact

Some gatherings are just for fun. Others are opportunities to support our school and give back. Many do both.

Our community rallies each year around meaningful fundraising events like the Party Book series and the Spring Gala, which support financial aid and special programs. Parent-led committees help organize these events, from hosting themed parties to managing logistics and promotion. These efforts not only raise funds, but also build a culture of generosity and belonging.

Bringing Everyone In

We believe that everyone has something to offer, and every event is an invitation to participate. Grandparents join us for special school-wide programs. Alumni return for legacy moments and to reconnect with former teachers. And families across all grade levels find new friendships through shared experiences and traditions.

Whether it’s singing together at a Shabbat celebration, showing up for a friend’s art show, or stepping in to help set up a community-wide event, these moments reflect what matters most: a community that shows up, supports one another, and celebrates together.
