Partners in Learning

Our parents are partners in shaping the joyful, connected community our school is known for.

Whether volunteering at events, supporting classroom learning, or sharing expertise behind the scenes, Wilshire Schools East families help make every day a special one.

Engaged & Involved Our Parent Community

Every parent is a member of the Wilshire Schools East Parent Association (WSEPA). That means every family has the opportunity to connect, contribute, and make an impact, whether through a single event or an ongoing commitment. Our parents bring creativity, warmth, and dedication to everything they do, from organizing holiday celebrations to cheering on Blaze athletes.

Some parents volunteer regularly, while others jump in when they can. With both in-person and Zoom meetings throughout the year, WSEPA offers flexible ways to stay connected and informed. No matter your schedule, there’s a place for you here.

Volunteering & Parent Leadership

WSEPA provides a wide range of opportunities to support our students, teachers, and programs. Below are just a few ways parents can get involved throughout the year.

Building Stronger Connections

We believe that students thrive when parents and educators work together. Throughout the year, we offer opportunities for collaboration, learning, and celebration:

  • Family Shabbat gatherings and Jewish holiday events
  • Parent education workshops and speaker series
  • Open communication with teachers and leadership
  • Updates through newsletters, WhatsApp groups, and school platforms

Whether you’re helping run a fundraiser, attending a parent education night, or engaging in community conversation, your contribution matters.
