Athletics is about more than physical activity. It’s about teamwork, confidence, discipline, and joy.
Through movement and play, students develop healthy habits that last a lifetime.
Developing the foundations of lifelong fitness
Physical education is part of every student’s weekly schedule. On our Athletics Complex, students build strength, coordination, and confidence.
Led by experienced coaches and educators, classes focus on skill-building, teamwork, and personal growth. Whether students are running laps, learning new games, or practicing mindfulness through movement, they’re encouraged to bring their best and support one another.
Athletics, Fitness, and Teamwork
The goal of our athletics program is to help students discover their strengths, build resilience, and experience the joy of physical activity in a supportive environment.
Every child is seen as an essential part of the team. Students learn to win with humility, lose with grace, and carry themselves with integrity both on and off the field.
Coaches emphasize skill development, sportsmanship, and school spirit. Students are encouraged to compete passionately while honoring values like respect, accountability, and collaboration.
Our athletic facilities include a well-equipped Rooftop Athletics Complex. The PE team, Coach Ricky and Coach Laura, bring decades of experience, warmth, and energy to every lesson and game.
Competitive and Recreational Sports
Students in Grades 4 through 6 can participate in after-school competitive teams through our membership in the Hollywood-Wilshire League.
We offer a full schedule of inter-school competitions in:
- Basketball
- Volleyball
- Flag football
- Soccer
