Innovation in Action

Curiosity is just the beginning. Through our robust STEAM program (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) students engage in inquiry-based learning that challenges them to think critically, experiment boldly, and collaborate creatively.

Innovation Starts Here

Our classrooms and innovation spaces are buzzing with energy as students design, build, and problem-solve through projects that bridge disciplines and mirror real-world challenges. Whether they're coding a game, programming a robot, or conducting a science experiment, students learn by doing, and grow more confident every step of the way.

Encouraging Creativity & Problem Solving

From kindergarten onward, students explore how ideas come to life through hands-on discovery. Science lessons unfold both in and outside the classroom, encouraging exploration of the physical, life, and earth sciences through active experimentation. Students work in groups to hypothesize, test, and observe, learning safe lab procedures while developing a deeper understanding of how the world works. Every lesson is an invitation to ask big questions and seek meaningful answers.

Our Approach

Our B.U.I.L.D. (Building Understanding by Iterating, Learning, and Design) curriculum emphasizes iteration, imagination, and experimentation. Students practice essential skills like creative thinking, teamwork, and perseverance as they design, prototype, and refine their ideas.

Technology & Innovation in the Classroom

At Brawerman East, technology supports and extends student learning every day. Classrooms are equipped with smartboards, iPads, and computers, and students explore advanced tools in a dedicated innovation lab.

They learn coding, animation, robotics, and 3D design, and even lead their own aviation and MinecraftEDU projects. These hands-on experiences build not only tech fluency, but also confidence and leadership.

Collaboration & Future-Ready Skills

Our STEAM approach builds more than academic knowledge. Students collaborate on long-term projects, give and receive peer feedback, and learn how to iterate with resilience. They engage in interdisciplinary challenges that mimic real-life innovation, preparing them to be thoughtful contributors to their communities and the wider world.
