By connecting l’dor v’dor, from generation to generation, we create a deeper, more personal understanding of the world around us.We look forward to the expansion of this cherished giving program, enhancing the school experience, and adding additional layers of care to our Wilshire Schools East extended family members.
Opportunities to Get Involved
Grandparents are welcome (and encouraged!) to take part in the life of our school community through:
- Grandparents & Special Friends Day — A cherished annual event filled with warmth, connection, and a glimpse into the classroom experience.
- Shabbat & Holiday Celebrations — Join us for meaningful traditions that honor our shared heritage.
- Grandparents Brunch & Learn – An opportunity for our grandparents to learn from our Wilshire Boulevard Temple clergy and spend time with other grandparents
- Classroom Visits & Showcases — See learning in action and celebrate student achievements up close.

Every contribution matters, and every gift is a reflection of your enduring love and legacy.
We invite you to become a Wilshire Schools East GRANDparent by contributing to our Annual Giving Campaign. Your support:
- Helps fund state-of-the-art technology and innovation in the classroom
- Supports professional development for our exceptional educators
- Enhances classrooms and facilities
- Provides enriching field trips for every grade
- Sustains the individualized, values-based learning that defines us
Annual Giving
Grandparents who contribute to our Annual Giving Campaign will be recognized in a dedicated section of our Annual Report and weekly newsletter. We are asking for a contribution of $1,000 or more, but your support and participation at any level would be greatly appreciated. Those who give $10,000 or more will join our Wilshire Schools East Giving Circle and have the opportunity to consult with our Head of School Gillian Feldman and Director of Advancement Rebecca Spain about the meaningful impact of your gift.
